Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 24 LED strobe warning light. This is a four-inch round LED recessed strobe light that has 24 LEDs. It's SAE J595 Class 2 rated, features 12 to 24-volt power range, and has an impact-resistant plastic housing. It's very strong, very durable.This is ideal for utility vehicles, service vehicles, and construction vehicles. It does come with the mounting grommet, and it comes with the PL-3 plug, so those are included for the installation. It's designed to fit into a four-and-a-half-inch diameter mount hole.
It's rated IP67 for water and dust resistance.Now, LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer. They burn brighter. They're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.
We've got a nice lens here. Again, this is a amber design.When it comes to the wiring, we have a total of five wires here on the back. The white wire with the ring terminal on it, that's your ground wire. The red wire is your positive power wire for quad flash pattern. The black wire is positive power for a dual flash pattern.
Then you can combine the red and black wires for a sixfold flash pattern. Yellow and green wires are for connecting multiple lights together and achieving synchronization or alternating designs. The diameter of the light measures right around four inches.We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off overhead lights so you can see it in a low-light setting.
I'm going to show you the dual flash first, which would just be the black wire. This is the dual flash pattern, nice bright design. Now I'll connect just the red wire, and that'll show you the quad flash pattern. And then we'll connect the red and black and achieve the sixfold flash pattern. Very bright design.Again, it has a total of 24 diodes, so the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output, 12 to 24-volt power range, and the amperage is 0.5 amps at 12 volts.
